Grand Reinsurance Company was registered on the 19th of October 2004. With the primary objective of providing security to a select group of Clients in the Zimbabwean market and the Region, Grand Re opened its doors for reinsurance business on the 1st of December 2004.
Grand Re is a wholly owned subsidiary of TA Holdings. It is part of a bigger insurance group and enjoys the stability and security offered by this association of companies with a wealth of experience in insurance.
Grand Re has a strong balance sheet and is backed by a strong holding company. The management team has a wealth of experience and internationally recognized qualifications. Market acceptance of Grand Re has grown as evidenced by the increase in treaty participants by the end of 2007.
Grand Re provides cover for Treaty Programmes (Proportional and Non Proportional) and Facultative Reinsurance.
